SUE'S STORY

Meet Sue Reed, our Quality Manager and Dietician at Stream Services.

Based in Clermont, Sue says what she loves most about the job is the variety and being able to support Participants in a way that genuinely meets their needs.

She enjoys the open-door approach at the Stream Services office that encourages Participants and Support Workers to spend time together, whether that’s a walk around the lagoon, a coffee and a yarn, or a game of UNO.

For Sue, this is one of the best jobs she’s ever had because she can see the change being made right in front of her.

OUR SIL HOMES

We currently offer a four-bedroom SIL shared home in Clermont as well as provide in-home SIL services for Participants in Innisfail and Longreach.

We are extremely excited about opening new SIL homes to meet Participants’ needs right across regional, rural and remote Queensland, so please get in touch to discuss your requirements!

We had to keep him close. He wouldn’t be well at all if he had to leave Longreach, if he was taken away from me. It was a wonderful thing for Alex and Stream Services to come on board and take a big load off my shoulders, even though I love my boy. And I would love to have him myself and look after him, but I just couldn’t do it any longer. We’ve been so happy with everything they’ve done for him, and even my friends can see a big change in me.”
